4-Hit Day For Tobias Earns Marshall Victory Over Holmes
Four hits from Chris Tobias paved the way to victory for Marshall over Holmes 12-1 on Thursday. Tobias singled in the first, singled in the second, and doubled in the fifth.
Marshall secured the victory thanks to seven runs in the third inning. Marshall’s big inning was driven by singles by Cristian Aguilar and Zane Zuniga, by Matt Zepeda, and an error on a ball put in play by Parker Gray.
Marshall fired up the offense in the first inning. Aguilar drew a walk, scoring two runs.
