Marshall Rams Drops Game To Brennan After Late Score
Marshall Rams stayed in it until the end, but Brennan pulled away late in a 10-4 victory on Monday. The game was tied at four with Brennan batting in the bottom of the fifth when Esteban Gonzales singled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.
The Marshall Rams struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Brennan, giving up ten runs.
Brennan got things moving in the first inning, when Anthony Valle drew a walk, scoring one run.
Jalen Thomas pitched Brennan to victory. He surrendered four runs on six hits over seven innings, striking out three and walking zero.
Corbin Walston took the loss for Marshall Rams. He surrendered two runs on three hits over one and two-thirds innings, striking out one.
