Marshall Loses Lead Early In Defeat
Marshall fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 16-3 loss to O’Connor on Tuesday. O’Connor scored on a triple by Jackson Blietz, a single by Caleb Smith, a single by Javier Perez, a walk by Sammy Castillo, a walk by Kevin Potts, a walk by Christian Estrada, and a grand slam by Blietz in the first inning.
The Marshall struggled to contain the high-powered offense of O’Connor, giving up 16 runs.
In the first inning, O’Connor got their offense started when Blietz tripled on a 2-0 count, scoring two runs.
